What’s Included
- We’ll walk you through getting your domain and web hosting set up. Don’t go and get it just yet. We’ll help you through it.
Already have hosting in place? We can work with that too. Just make sure you take a look at our fine print. - We’ll install WordPress on your site
- We’ll get everything all set up for you
- We’ll upload the theme of your choice. (Need some ideas? Start here.)
- We’ll customize your theme – adding your logo (that you provide) and changing link and background colors to match.
- We’ll install and activate 5 must-have plugins to help the search engines find you, users to contact you and comment on your blog posts.
- We’ll give you a written tutorial about how to do basic blog-like things, like writing and editing posts, inserting pages, and adding other cool stuff.
The fine print
This is a basic, start-from-scratch package. It does not include moving content from another blog or website, or support after the fact. That isn’t to say we can’t do those things, it’s just not part of this package. If you need more support, one-on-one coaching, or other services done to set up your site, drop us a line.
You will need to use one of our web hosts, using our affiliate links to qualify for the base price of this package. This is because we’ll make a bit of money from the hosting company, which helps subsidize the installation of your site. Because isn’t it nicer when someone else pays for it?
If you already have hosting in place, don’t fret, you can still get this package, but there will be an extra $50 charge.
